Getting Hungry?

It’s time to talk about food. I’ll give you recommendations for a few of the best restaurants in Miami.

The Capital Grille

The Capital GrilleThis is a great place for lunch or any occasion. Everything tastes great. The service is more than good, and it’s modern and cozy. $200 for three people and you will be stuffed.

444 Brickell Avenue, Miami

Greenstreet Café

Green Street CafeIf you crave a nice, simple breakfast, then come to Greenstreet. The restaurant is located in the center of Coconut Grove, among other restaurants and shops. Food and service are excellent. I like to sit in the patio. It’s pretty cozy and it’s not so hot in the mornings. Full breakfast will cost you $15-$20.

3468 Main Highway, Coconut Groove

La Mar by Gaston Acurio

La Marby Gaston AcurioThis place is located in the Mandarin Hotel, and it’s worth the visit if only because of the beautiful open terrace. Make a reservation for a table outside. You’ll enjoy cocktails at the bar and traditional Peruvian food: ceviche, tiradito, empanadas, and so on. There are many kinds of sweet potatoes with toppings (king crab is delicious). The restaurant has a great view of Miami and it’s expensive, so get ready to pay.

Mandarin Oriental, 500 Brickell Key Drive, Miami

Jardim De Portugal

Jardim De PortugalHere you’ll find real Portuguese food. First, there are the traditional meat pies “de bacalhao.” Second, pancake lovers can live it up here because the pancakes are to die for. The seafood dishes are also good, and there’s a great selection of wines. A good dinner for two is around $70-$100.

2960 Coral Way, Miami
