Korchma Taras Bulba
This is a colorful, cozy and friendly place with traditional Ukrainian food. Korchma is interesting not only for “homesick” people but also for every guest. You can be sure that you will be treated to “smalec,” cooked according to a special recipe with dark bread, and when leaving you will drink fifty grams for the road “na pososhok.” By the way, the menu is in fifteen languages. Another special is absinthe, which is very rare in this country. Prices are pretty affordable even for a place in SoHo, Manhattan. Dinner for two is about $120, and portions are pretty big.

Molly’s Pub
This is the most Irish Pub with a century of history in New York. You can find a bunch of pubs with Irish names and flags, but only a few of them can offer you real Irish drinks and food. At Molly’s you can try tasty Irish and American food and alcoholic drinks, but the most important thing is the atmosphere! The vintage furniture, the sawdust on the floor and the waitresses (some of them can even be pregnant). Prices are more than affordable, like dinner for two at less than $100.

This is a famous hot dog place that’s always busy. It is well-known among visitors and locals alike. And that says a lot! Everybody likes delicious and very cheap hot dogs, so don’t miss it. Try the legendary hot dog.
