Flying to Miami? Great choice! Let me tell you some unexpected things about the weather you might find there. Trust me; it’s worth your attention.
Since all of Florida has a tropical climate, the weather differs depending on the season. You are going to like or dislike the city accordingly.
Relatively speaking, Miami has two seasons: low summer and high winter. The summer season is the so-called hurricane season. It lasts from the beginning of May until the end of October. At this time, specifically from July to October, there are many tropical downpours which start and stop very suddenly. Such unstable weather has become a regular “movie” for Miami residents. Summer becomes very hot and humid. The water temperature gets as high as 30 degrees Celsius, and for cold ocean water lovers, a pool is the best choice. Moreover, there are a lot of jellyfish in the ocean at the end of August, and they can leave small burns on your tanned body. So fortunately every beach has a lifeguard who knows how to do first aid for burns quickly and safely. Just fifteen minutes and you don’t have any more pain. The best time to go out is before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
Forewarned is forearmed!
- It’s time to tell you about the nightlife in Miami.
Don’t you agree that just the name of the city puts you in a fun, vacation and, of course, night party mode? Just for the record, in Miami even in the daytime you can find a super party. Often these are beach parties in swimsuits. Trust me: that’s fine in Miami. All of the beaches are sand beaches and the coastline is very long: forty-five kilometers along the Atlantic Ocean.
What’s interesting is that you go to a beach in the daytime, get a tan, swim and what’s next? Next, you don’t go anywhere because in the evening the stage is set up on the beach, the DJ turns on the music and you dance!!! But not all the beaches work like that.
One of those beaches is Niki Beach: http://nikkibeach.com/destinations/beach-clubs/miami-beach/
All nightlife lovers in Miami know this beach club well. If you come here once, you’ll want to come back again. In the most southerly clubs in Miami, the best parties are on Sundays.
- Another famous club: Mangos
It’s located on the same street at number 900. Its specialty is Latin-American and bright Brazilian-style carnival shows.
- If you like night life, another spot I recommend is Space Night Club, at 34 NE 11th St., Miami.
All the party monsters are coming here to meet the sunrise after 5 a.m. Why, you ask? There is a very simple explanation for this: they ignore the ban on alcohol after 5 a.m.
The club is only open on Saturdays.
- And another club: Dream
This is one of the “hottest” clubs in Miami. It offers hot, intimate scenes for the social elite. The club is located in the heart of the American Rivera, at 1532 Washington Avenue.
I think that’s enough night life for now. But if you didn’t get enough, don’t worry. Once you are in Miami, you won’t be bored… unless you are one of those people who likes to spend their vacation sleeping in a hotel room! There are as many clubs and night parties in this city as mushrooms after the rain, so you’d better think about the outfits that you’d like to take with you. That goes for the men, too. Miami loves to be beautiful and stylish.
- By the way, Miami is the capital of fashion.
There are plenty of stylish people all over Miami, but most of them are at South Beach. Here we have all the biggest international modeling agencies. Models from around the world come here to find fame and success, because powerful people from the world of high fashion lived and still live here. The most famous–Gianni Versace–bought the house at 30 Ocean Drive in 1992 and turned it into a luxury villa.
Gianni Versace was tragically killed in 1997, while coming home.
Today, Versace’s palace is called The Villa by Barton G. It has become a beautiful hotel with a restaurant.
